Custom HGV graphics for Bagged Aggregates
DMS Graphics Ltd was approached by Bagged Aggregates Ltd to produce custom HGV Graphics for their newly acquired fleet of Grab and Tipper Lorries with new Lorry Graphics. The fleet of Second-hand vehicles needed to be stripped as they started life with a different company.
Stripping the Lorry Graphics
Using applied heat and Industrial glue removers DMS removed the existing Andrews Livery to make way for the new Lorry Graphics. After a few hours of elbow grease and a lot of Patience, the Lorries were ready to be re-branded to their new company.
DMS Graphics Ltd used specialist materials to create the finished look for the fleet. The sides of Tippers are especially prone to damage and for this application, DMS Graphics used extra high-strength adhesive to make sure the printed areas adhered to the rough surface. Normal vinyl will stick to this kind of surface with the correct preparation but, It will damage and fail much sooner than the specialist products.
For the cabs of the Lorry Graphics, it was decided that we would use high-quality Avery 1104ea wrapping vinyl. This particular vinyl was designed for high-quality digitally printed vehicle wraps.
Design of the Custom HGV graphics
DMS Graphics worked personally with Bagged Aggregates on the development of the desired vehicle branding. Starting with the company, Nissan Cabstar before moving on to the larger fleet.
After the initial design was completed, DMS Graphics then worked on converting the artwork to work with the bigger vehicles.
Installation
DMS Graphics collaborates with sign application engineers throughout the industry. To Fit these lorry graphics, DMS worked With AC Signs. Together the first four vehicles were completed at the company’s head office in Kent. AC Signs have worked alongside DMS on many projects in the past including the recent Inn Any Event Catering vehicle.
The finished results gave a clean and fresh image.
In Conclusion
Both DMS and Bagged Aggregates are happy with the results. The vehicles look fresh and shiny whilst displaying the company brand. We look forward to completing the fleet install.
