Recently a Client contacted DMS Graphics Ltd regarding their Globescout Camper van which had some issues with the original branding. A camper van represents a significant investment and the Globescout is a very good quality Conversion with just about everything that you could need. Unfortunately, the manufacturer installed a lower-quality vinyl when installing the graphics.
You get What You Pay For
We are not talking about massive amounts of money when it comes to the cost of the Vinyl used for the production of Vehicle Graphics but, there are many grades of vinyl available. You certainly get what you pay for, and the original graphics were produced on a short 3-5 year lifespan vinyl. This meant that the colour and shine faded on the block colours and the cut decals shrunk.
DMS graphics Ltd had to find better quality vinyl of the same colour. Using the 8-10 year lifespan vinyl Mark from DMS redrew and produced the required graphics. DMS also suggested a more modern front end to cover up some paint fade that had occurred on the bonnet. DMS worked in contracted Andy at AC Sings to remove the original graphics and then install the new set.
This gave the Camper van a more modern appearance.
Globescout Camper Van
It was great to be involved in this simple but effective product. Although the actual design is minimal, the camper van has ended up with a new fresh look as the original graphics made the vehicle look older than it actually is. The graphics will now last another 8-10 years or even longer. The Installation by AC Signs was top quality and appeared as if it was factory fitted, and the new front-end graphics made the van look a lot more modern.
In Conclusion
It is never too late to breathe a little life in to an outdated vehicle. This Camper van is actually only a 2015 model, but its appearance made it look older. The new graphics have updated the camper and made it look like a virtually new van. This same principle can be used on most recreational and commercial vehicles.
