Here at DMS, we understand the need for effective marketing tools. We believe that a company vehicle is a moving advert for your business. Effective vehicle graphics can and will drive business and create corporate awareness.
Different Styles of Vehicle Graphics
Standard Vehicle Graphics using cut vinyl in different colours.
Working with the vehicle’s colour scheme and selected brand colours, it is possible to make an effective Vehicle Livery which will tie the branding to your company. The benefit of this approach is that these types of vehicle Graphics are often the cheapest and easiest to maintain. In the event of the vehicle being damaged, it would be possible to replace sections of the livery. With larger digital images it is often the case that the complete image will need replacing.
The downside of this type of vehicle graphic is, that larger digital images make more impact when they are seen by the intended commercial audience.
Vehicle Graphics using additional Digital print
Working with the existing colour scheme of the vehicle and adding coloured vinyl is great but, if you want to take your vehicle graphic advertising to the next level then we suggest adding an extra splash of impact. The addition of digital print can enhance the overall look of the Vehicle Graphics.
Using an image with impact is known as adding a graphic device to create visual impact. Often the image is simply there to make people look. The vehicle graphics are then used to show the corporate image and contact details.
If your corporate image or logo is detailed with lots of 3D elements or effects then, digital print is the best way to add your identity to the vehicle. Often these vehicle graphics are more expensive due to production and installation but, you are getting more impact for your investment.
Vehicle Wrapping using digital images and cut vinyl
Vehicle wrapping opens up a whole new world of Vehicle Graphics. The van in these pictures was Required for the Hackney Pride celebrations. The idea was to create the coloured stripe theme and to make it look like the vehicle had been painted in these colours.
The hackney logos and details were then added over the top. The van in the pictures is actually white. This gives three great benefits.
- The vehicle graphics can be removed without affecting the vehicle’s value.
- The vehicle graphics act as paint protection against everyday vehicle damage like chips and scratches
- Once the vehicle graphics are removed, you are left with a vehicle that is easier to sell due to its base colour, this also means that your corporate image will not be used by people who wish to use your colours in their branding.
