Scarbutts Vehicle Wrap Livery
Recently DMS Graphics Ltd was asked by Scarbutts Printers to design, produce, and install a vehicle wrap livery based on their brief.
Scarbutts and CSP which are part of the Meliora Group were looking for a Vehicle Wrap livery that would not only be eye-catching but, also tie into their current advertising campaign. They were keen on using the rainbow colours but, not making the van look like an actual rainbow.
Design
DMS Graphics wanted to design something simple and, bespoke at the same time without completely going overboard with the client’s budget. Working alongside Oliver Kleinman, DMS Graphics created a design based upon Ink splashes forming the colours of the rainbows.
Production of the Vehicle Wrap
DMS Graphics decided that the best approach was to create a partial vehicle wrap. The large brightly coloured ink splashes were produced using high-quality Avery Wrapping film with gloss laminate. The digitally printed vinyl gives excellent conformability and sharp vibrant colours. This would enable DMS to contour the bodywork of the van. all other elements were produced on standard conformable digital print vinyl and then cut to shape. This would give a bespoke colour to all of the installations.
Installation of the Scarbutts Vehicle Wrap Livery
The van was placed inside the CSP factory at Aylesford Kent where DMS would be able to install the livery. Working as a two-man team Mark Steward and Andy Codling installed the graphics on Saturday the 18th of December.
Finished Vehicle Livery
DMS Graphics and Scarbutts printers were very happy with the final Vehicle livery. The vehicle is bright and colourful and it creates a high-impact advertising medium.
